I PROGETTI SOSTENUTI DA MODENA TERZO MONDO
NEL NORD-EST DEL BRASILE
L'Associazione Modena Terzo Mondo e' presente nel Nord-est
del Brasile a Joaquim Nabuco, nello stato del Pernambuco,
ed inoltre, con diversi progetti, nello stato del Piaui', con capitale
Teresina.
A Joaquim Nabuco abbiamo iniziato il nostro cammino nel 1992
insieme alle suore del Divino Amore.
Attualmente sosteniamo, in particolare, la "Fondazione dei giovani
di Joaquim Nabuco per la vita" che ha sede nella "Casa dei Giovani"
acquistata nell'Agosto del 2004.
Nello stato del Piaui' ci siamo impegnati nel supporto del programma
"Fame Zero", nella costruzione di cisterne per l'accesso all'acqua
potabile per 900 famiglie, nella costruzione di una scuola
di Agricoltura Familiare, etc...

PROJECTS SUPPORTED BY MODENA TERZO MONDO IN NORTH-EAST BRAZIL
Modena Terzo Mondo Association is present in the north-east of Brazil in Joaquim Nabuco, in the state of Pernambuco, and we also have various projects in the state of Piauí, whose capital is Teresina.
In 1992 we began working alongside the Divino Amore nuns in Joaquim Nabuco.
In particular at the moment we are supporting the Joaquim Nabuco Youth Foundation for Life which is based in the Youth House, bought in August 2004.
In the state of Piauí we have also been supporting the “Zero Hunger” programme and have been building water tanks that provide clean drinking water for around 900 families, and we have enabled the creation of the Family Farming School, among other projects.
